Ownership and governance

Who makes the key decisions, and how. Include a board, partners or advisors if you have them.

Community and Nation context

Many funders and partners ask about this early. Record the current state honestly, including what is not yet agreed. For engagement processes, seek advice from the communities and Nations involved.

Where relevant: the communities or Nations whose territories, waters or people the venture involves, and the relationship so far.

Where relevant: who has given a mandate or consent for this venture, and how it is recorded (for example a council resolution or a partnership agreement).
